With no darts, zips or set-in sleeves, Stevie is a satisfyingly quick and easy make - yay! Stevie has a modern, boxy fit, with round neckline and grown-on sleeves, closing at the back with pretty ties or button loop.

Make as a top with cropped hemline that hits the high hip, or above-the-knee dress length, with optional turn-up cuffs and patch pocket. Throw it on with a statement necklace and you're good to go!

Perfect for beginners!

Fabric and notions (please see back of pattern for further information):

Top:

  • 1.1m - 1.6m fabric (60" wide)
  • 1.8m fabric (45" wide)
  • 0.3m interfacing
  • matching thread
  • For button loop: 1 x 12-18mm button and elasticated hairband

Dress:

  • 1.4m - 2.1m fabric (60" wide)
  • 2.3m fabric (45" wide)
  • 0.3m interfacing
  • matching thread
  • For button loop: 1 x 12-18mm button and elasticated hairband

    Fabric suggestions:

Make Stevie in light to medium-weight woven fabric - try linen or blends, double gauze, chambray, cotton lawn, viscose (rayon)... or if you're a confident stitcher you could even make it in something more luxurious like sandwashed silk or crepe de chine.
